ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Drew Newbold and this is my website for photography 1. Before taking this class I had never touched a camera other than the one on my phone. Taking this class allowed me to understand the different perspectives you can see by taking pictures using an actual film camera. Not only that, but before taking this class I was never really interested in art. However, after being almost a full semester into this class I now realize how much this type of art can really change the way you see things. I would say the style of most of my pictures was definitely trying to just capture the most interesting things that I could, and my inspiration came from not only Mrs. Price's pictures she has hanging around the classroom but also from the photographer that I researched. One take away that I have from this class is to take a look at your surroundings because they are more interesting than you would think.
